Sanctions register
Every financial sanction, with the decision behind it.
Points deductions, fines, settlements and compensation awards affecting English clubs under the Premier League's, the EFL's and UEFA's financial rules: what was breached, the sanction, what happened on appeal and where it stands now. Every row links to its source, and a decision still open says so.
How sanctions work under the squad cost ratio
Above the red threshold
The red threshold is 115% for every club this season. A club above it on 1 March loses six points plus one more for every £6.5m over, once any dispute window has passed (Handbook 2026/27, Appendix 2, Rules F.4 and H.2).
Between 85% and 115%
No points. In later seasons a levy is charged on the excess, but not in 2026/27: this season a club in the band is tested again on its accounts, and part of its allowance above 85% can be taken away for the next season (Rules C.4, D.1 to D.3 and H.2).
Where each club stands against those lines is on the club pages; the dates of each test are on the calendar.
