Privacy
The short version: The Orange Ledger does not use cookies, does not run advertising or cross-site tracking, has no accounts or sign-ups, and does not sell or share personal data. It counts visits with Cloudflare's cookieless analytics, which does not identify you.
Who is responsible
The Orange Ledger is published by 2035 Agency LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC458940, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. It is written by Arthur van de Laak. 2035 Agency LLP is responsible for personal data handled through this site. For any question about this policy or your personal data, use the contact form.
What we collect
- No cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own and uses none for tracking or advertising.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking. Pages load no advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking code.
- Cookieless visitor counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. Cloudflare adds a small script to each page for this. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not identify you or follow you across other websites.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use this information to identify visitors.
- Browser storage. The site does not store anything in your browser.
If you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, the kind of enquiry, your message and, optionally, your organisation. When you send it, those details go to Web3Forms, a form-to-email service, which delivers them to us by email; nothing is stored on this site. We use them only to read and reply to your message, and keep the email only as long as that conversation needs. The same applies if you message us on X.
Links and embedded content
Articles link to other websites, such as Companies House, the Premier League, news outlets and X. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since we hold almost nothing, the answer is usually none. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with the date it took effect.
